Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common heating & cooling questions for Ridgefield, WA homeowners.

General Questions

What areas do you serve? +

We serve SW Washington — from Vancouver, Battle Ground, and Ridgefield to Camas, La Center, and the surrounding communities. If you're not sure whether you're in our coverage area, just give us a call and we'll let you know.

Are you licensed and insured? +

Yes. We're fully licensed (WA Contractor Lic. #ALLARAM906WR) and insured. Every technician we send is trained, background-checked, and equipped to work safely in your home.

Do you offer emergency service? +

We do. If your heat or AC goes out, call us and we’ll send a technician out fast — at any time of the week, even over the weekend.

What brands do you service? +

We install and service all major HVAC brands. Our technicians carry common parts on the truck so most repairs can be handled in a single visit, regardless of who made your system.

Service & Repairs

How fast can you get to me? +

In most cases we can have a technician at your door the same day — often within a few hours. Emergencies jump to the front of the line.

Do you charge a diagnostic fee? +

We'll explain any service-call or diagnostic fee up front before any work begins. You'll always approve the price before we start — no surprises on the invoice.

Should I repair or replace my system? +

It depends on the age of your equipment, the cost of the repair, and how efficiently it's running. As a rule of thumb, if your system is more than 10–15 years old and facing a major repair, replacement often saves money long-term. Our technician will lay out the honest options so you can decide.

How long does a repair take? +

Most repairs are completed during the first visit. If a specialty part has to be ordered, we'll tell you the timeline and do everything we can to keep you comfortable in the meantime.

Maintenance & Plans

How often should I have my system serviced? +

We recommend two tune-ups a year — one in spring for your AC and one in fall for your heating. Seasonal maintenance keeps efficiency high, catches small issues before they become breakdowns, and protects your manufacturer warranty.

What's included in a maintenance plan? +

Our plans include seasonal tune-ups, priority scheduling, discounts on repairs, and waived fees on higher tiers. See our maintenance plans for a full comparison.

Does maintenance really lower my energy bills? +

Yes. A clean, properly tuned system doesn't have to work as hard to heat or cool your home, which means lower monthly energy costs and a longer equipment lifespan.

Financing & Pricing

Do you offer financing? +

We do. We offer flexible options including 9 Months Same As Cash and low monthly payment plans on qualifying installations and major repairs. See our financing page for details, then apply in minutes.

Will I get an upfront price? +

Always. We quote flat, upfront pricing before any work starts — so you know exactly what you're paying and can make the call with confidence.

Do you offer free estimates on new systems? +

Yes — estimates on new system installations are free. We'll assess your home, walk you through the right-sized options, and give you a clear written quote.
